Tew Falls, Hamilton's tallest waterfall with autumn colors

Tew Falls – Hamilton’s Tallest Waterfall

Tew Falls is Hamilton’s Tallest Waterfall, rising a dramatic height of 41 metres (135 feet), is a must-visit location for landscape photographers. Located near the popular Dundas Peak, this plunge waterfall flows over the edge of the Niagara Escarpment in a narrow, elegant drop, surrounded by thick forest and towering cliffs.

This photograph captures Tew Falls from the main viewing platform, using a vertical composition to emphasize its dramatic height. The image was taken in the autumn which adds a pop of colour to an already sublime waterfall. A longer shutter speed softens the descent of the water, contrasting beautifully with the textured rock wall behind it.

In addition to Albion Falls, there are many wonderful waterfalls in the vicinity. Check out my blog post, Discover the Best Waterfalls in Hamilton!
