Yosemite Valley and its massive cliff faces are one of the most incredible landscapes you can witness. I was awe-struck and in love with it on my first visit and have been there several times since. El Capitan lit up in the distance here is a 3000 foot granite marvel as viewed from Taft Point. You can reach this point on Glacier road but need to do that before its closed in the winter months due to snow, as Taft point is at an elevation of about 7,500 feet.
