Forbidden City

The Forbidden City had this mystical aura for me and a place I had always wanted to photograph. Constructed in the early 15th century during the Ming Dynasty, it served as the imperial palace for 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties. A challenge to photograph with the hordes of tourists and the lack of a tripod, but there are many amazing compositions of intricate wooden structures adorned with golden roofs, red walls and statues to focus on.
