The Cheltenham Badlands, are located just north west of Toronto, in Caledon, Ontario, and are a fascinating natural geological formation that you would not expect to find in such close proximity to a major city. I have visited here several times and they have now installed boardwalks to help protect the area from erosion. While you can’t explore it as freely, it is still a fascinating place to view.
