I have taken several photography trips to the Alabama Hills area near Lone Pine, California and Lathe Arch is a hidden gem. This natural arch is relatively low to the ground and can be easy to miss if you’re not specifically looking for it. Most photographers will be in the area to photograph the famous Mobius Arch, like I did several years earlier. It’s nestled among other stunning rock formations and offers a beautiful frame for Mount Whitney in the distance.
