Hercules and Cacus stands out against a soft background in this black and white shot. “David” gets most of the fanfare of the statues located in Piazza della Signoria in Florence but it was “Hercules and Cacus” by Baccio Bandinelli, that really caught my attention. There was something striking about it that I tried to highlight with a shallow depth of field and converting to black and white.
