This Racetrack Playa sailing stone was light painted to glow against the cracked lakebed. The Racetrack Playa, is a scenic dry lake feature with mysterious moving stones that inscribe imprints. It is located above the northwestern side of Death Valley. I illuminated this boulder with a technique called light painting.
